Proper and correct use of language is key to communicate well and convey the massage accurately. Tenses are one of the tools that arm us with knowledge and ability to use it. It explains the reason why we use specific tenses and structures at specific times. Tenses in language are important as through them we can express our ideas and statements and indicate in which period of time they occurred. Different sentences with different tenses can convey very different meanings, which may sometimes have negative consequences in our work and business.
As a second language speaker it is important for me, to learn more about passive and active tenses and their usage. I usually use passive sentences in my writing, sometimes unintentionally. I would like to use more active tenses in my sentences and writings instead of using passive ones. I hope to learn more about passive tenses and when we should use them. In this process I try to read and ask people who know about the usage of them and will share my findings with my teammate. My peer will learn about the way that I use those tenses and my ideas about passive and actives tenses. I share what I know and we will learn a lot together through this project.
