The digital media intern program employs 12 – 16 undergraduate Middlebury students each year. Prior to beginning their work as interns, students complete a trainee period during which they create a multimedia project about themselves, revise that project, and complete an approximately 3-week long training curriculum that focuses on interactive collaborative activities that allow interns to familiarize themselves with tools through using them to solve problems.

Tutors’ primary responsibilities are:

  • Supporting users of the Wilson Media Lab
  • Working with faculty on curricular projects during the summer, and projects smaller in scope during the academic year

The digital media intern program is supervised and managed by Heather Stafford, our Multimedia/Curricular Technologist at Middlebury. Heather has worked with the tutors since 2013, has a background in English teaching, and recently completed her MEd at Northeastern University with a focus on eLearning and Instructional Design. If you are interested in learning more about the program, or have a project that you would like assistance with please contact Heather at hstafford@middlebury.edu.
