Archer Newell has worked as a DMT since the summer of 2014. She graduated in the spring of 2016 with a dual major in Geography and Environmental Studies as well as minoring in Spanish. In her first summer as a media tutor, Archer worked with faculty and staff to create WordPress, Drupal and Moodle sites for courses and college departments. She also worked with Middlebury Schools Abroad to create an interactive, online oral and written language exam. Her favorite part about being a DMT was learning a variety of new software programs and figuring out strategies for troubleshooting technology issues with users. Outside of tutoring, Archer worked extensively with the Adobe Suite, as well as both desktop and web-based GIS programs for digital map-making as part of her geography studies.
