Sofia, Bulgaria: MIIS Cyber Director Dr. Itamara Lochard was a speaker at the International Scientific Conference: “Defense Studies in Bulgaria – A Centennial Tradition and New Horizons” on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Military History Commission and the 15th anniversary of the Defense Advanced Research Institute in Bulgaria. She also had discussions with representatives from NATO, the U.S. embassy, Bulgaria and Romania regarding the NATO Center of Excellence on Crisis Management and Disaster Response that is slated to be opened in November 2014.
