Here is a screen capture of a teaching perspective profile. After you complete the online inventory, your profile will look something like this.
The Teaching Perspectives Inventory (TPI) is a 45-item inventory that will assess your orientation to teaching. Once you have answered the TPI questions, your scores will be automatically profiled and you can print off your Teaching Perspectives profile.
You can take the Perspectives Inventory here. Please use a browser other than Internet Explorer! Once you’ve completed it and have a view of your individual profile, please take a screen shot of your profile, save it to your computer with your name as part of the file name. Here’s a quick guide to taking a screen shot with a Mac. And similar information for Windows. (If you need help with this step, just ask.)
Now, please email your teaching perspective profile screen shot to Shel Sax (sax@middlebury.edu) before the start of the session. We will be comparing and discussing our results during the TPI session on Jan. 14th at 11:00 am at the CTLR.
