Please contact us at counseling@middlebury.edu with questions and to check counselor availability.

Counseling Services through COVID-19

Counseling is a discipline that has, at its heart, the connection between people. However, the COVID-19 global pandemic has imposed requirements of “social distancing” and “self-isolation” that have inverted our social norms and forced us to consider how we care for ourselves and one another. Less than a month ago, we would express social concern by coming together; today, that behavior is decidedly “antisocial,” and seen as a threat to others.

During these challenging, confusing, and often lonely times, we at Parton remain committed to helping our students to thrive both academically and personally. Like our students, faculty, and staff throughout the Middlebury community, we are working to find new ways of providing connection and content, and we are determined to evolve into this space with you, though we remain apart.
