Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks

Statistics: Armstrong gate count for July: 20,645
Amount my car depreciates if I drive it another 10K miles: $1000
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Summer Research Symposium on Thursday. Thankfully few plotter problems
• Students now know how to change the paper in the plotter
• Library busy
• New science books coming weekly
• Shelf reading project almost done
• Replaced/fixed two lab computers
Davis Family:
• Lots of new books and DVDs coming up from P&P
• Circ meeting: GOALS set!
• New equipment cabinets at the circ desk! Moved highest-use materials to be closer to the students
• DVD project continues
• Still playing with the iPad
• Will collect monthly stats today
• Activity increasing as the end of LS nears
• Helping pull BLWC stuff
• Planning ice cream for the students
• Looking forward to being closed weekends in August
Stacks:
• Steady activity with reshelving
Reserves:
• BLWC – 20 workshop packets added to ERes
• BLSE winding down – planning for dismantling
• Fall requests coming in, updating and alerting faculty to Course Hub resource!
• A brief vacation
CT team: on sabbatical
Space Team: re-working Course Hub Feeds justification document

Challenges:
• Some reserves confusion during Kellam’s vacation – nothing major
• Banner and students entering their time
• Students asking for faculty computers – what is that about??
• Someone changing the colors on the supervisor login of Millennium
