Forty nine ERes coursepages already created for F09

Highlights:
– Main:
Last summer session is quiet. LS seems to have ended suddenly.
Working on re shelving
Fall directory,email distribution list and fall student schedule up to date and on line
Green PAF cards have been completed for all fall students
Two remaining shifts for fall semester. Working on filling them
Elin on vacation – Circ staff holding down the fort
– BLWC:
Progressing smoothly with a handful of book requests for Main
– Armstrong:
Todd – out *(CTO) last Thursday and Friday.
Map projects completed. Working on shifting maps this week
Intersession project: shelve-reading the bound periodicals
Updating Ill instructions for fall term
Labeling maps donated to Armstrong
– Music:
Ran the “being repaired” list
Very quiet at music after a lot of Friday returns
Cancelled 16 of the 21 NExpress requests in one day by one person
Dan on vacation this week
– Reserves:
Lots of emails with requests to process – able to keep on top of them for now
Training 2 ILL/Reserve students with complete process of scanning and adding ERes materials, as well as adding traditional reserve materials to Millennium

Challenges:
– Main:
Mysterious outage in section of Main Level lights
End of LS so lots and lots of returns, plus returns from BLSE, so lots of shelving!
– Armstrong:
Flurry of shift changes for fall term, after I sent out a September 2 deadline.
– Reserves:
Tracking down one Midd library item not returned from BLNM and 2 personal copies owned by BLNM faculty
Collection Management busy and not assisting with adding ERes documents. OK for now, as student workers are being trained, but will need assistance after Sept. 7
