Welcome to the Circ Blog Student Worker Pages

Why are we asking you to read the Circ blog?
Answer:
So that you can stay informed about all things related to your job at the Circulation Desks
To reduce the amount of email that clogs up your inbox
And – so that you can read updates and memos/fyi’s on work time – while getting paid!

Here’s what we expect you to do:

Read the blog when you arrive on shift.
The icon for the Circulation Services blog can be found on every workstation desktop.
Or type go/blogs
Click on Library Circulation
Scroll down the list of categories and select the Student Worker category that matches your work location.
Relevant posts will display – most recent on top
Please read all posts since your last shift.
If you have any questions or comments related to any of the posts, leave a comment.
You may also find it useful to read post comments to stay informed about your workplace

Note!
The very first time you read the blog, you are required to post a comment with a suggestion or question about this blog. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or ask for help if you have never read or commented on a blog

The supervisor who created the post will be the one notified of any comments or questions to the post, and will follow up — via the blog, (as opposed to emailing the student)
Please close the browser by the end of your shift.

All things related to schedules should still go through email

Please refer questions or suggestions for a post topic to a supervisor.

Supervisors:
Please post memos, updates, reminders and fyi’s to the blog, instead of sending email.
Please post student suggestions, questions and the answer on the blog
Select relevant categories and student location.
Select all student locations if memo is relevant to all branches.
(All things related to schedules should still go through email)
