10/1 National Day of China

N2013828204915

Every Year’s October 1st is the national holiday of China.

The People’s Republic of China (PRC) was established under the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in October 1st, 1949. Therefore, this year is the 64th anniversary.

Nowadays, what makes the Chinese people most excited about the national holiday probably is the 7-day long legal holiday starting in Oct. 1st.

As living standard improves in recent year, a lot of Chinese people like to travel domestically or abroad during this holiday.

However, many popular tourist sites, such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, would become extremely crowded during this traveling period.  Don’t get shocked by the picture.

(The name Forbidden City sounds a ironic in this scene ~)

By the way, here’s the national anthem of China. It’s called the March of the Volunteers.

Happy National Day, everyone.

Songs about the Mid-Autumn Festival

It is a Mid-Autumn Festival custom that Chinese people get together with their families and friends to admire the full moon and eat Moon-cakes.

Therefore, I introduce two songs about the moon.

The first one is called Let the Moon Speak for My Heart.

The next one is called May We All be Blessed with Longevity. It express the most beautiful wish of one to his or her lover. By the way, the lyrics come from a classic Chinese poem (I guess a thousand years ago they didn’t really care about copyrights 🙂
