Song of the Week – At Least I Have You by Sandy Lam

Sandy Lam is a very popular singer in the Greater China region. She grew up in HongKong, but since her family was immigrant from Shanghai, she’s actually good at both Mandarin and Cantonese. No doubt, her Cantonese songs are pretty good and popular too.

This song At Least I Have You is definitely one of her most famous ones. If I remember accurately, it was published around 2000 – quite some time ago. But still people love to sing it in Karaoke boxes.

By the way, I attached the lyrics in Chinese here. Hope it helps your Chinese-studying

Repeat #

Songs about the Mid-Autumn Festival

1315285361489

It is a Mid-Autumn Festival custom that Chinese people get together with their families and friends to admire the full moon and eat Moon-cakes.

Therefore, I introduce two songs about the moon.

The first one is called Let the Moon Speak for My Heart.

The next one is called May We All be Blessed with Longevity. It express the most beautiful wish of one to his or her lover. By the way, the lyrics come from a classic Chinese poem (I guess a thousand years ago they didn’t really care about copyrights 🙂

Happy Mid(d)-autumn Festival!
