Every Year’s October 1st is the national holiday of China. 中国的国庆节是每年的10月1号。

The People’s Republic of China (PRC) was established under the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in October 1st, 1949. Therefore, this year is the 64th anniversary. 中华人民共和国，在中国共产党领导下，成立于1949年10月1号。今年是国庆64周年。

Nowadays, what makes the Chinese people most excited about the national holiday probably is the 7-day long legal holiday starting in Oct. 1st. 国庆节最令中国老百姓兴奋的大概是由10月1号开始的7天的法定长假。

As living standard improves in recent year, a lot of Chinese people like to travel domestically or abroad during this holiday. 随着生活水平的提高，很多中国老百姓喜欢利用国庆的长假在国内或者到国外去旅游。

However, many popular tourist sites, such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, would become extremely crowded during this traveling period.  Don’t get shocked by the picture. 然而，很多热门的旅游景点如故宫和长城都常常会变得拥挤不堪。一下图片可能会令你很惊讶。
