“What is Education” features Yulissa Nuñez , a recent recipient of the Lawrence Mayor’s Hispanic Heritage award, and a first year Bread Loaf student, Summer 2016 . See the feature on Yulissa in this issue. “What is Educaton? – Back Again” is the latest release, filmed by Elevated Thought youth leader and Lawrence Youth Council ( LYC) member,  Celeste Cruz. Utilizing the research and data gathered from last spring, they’re looking to build off the momentum through the development of a youth-driven education model that can enhance public schooling across the city of Lawrence.
