Location: GSIPM Desk Area, McCone Upper LevelWhile I was in the Peace Corps, a local health worker named Rosa organized a community training so we could teach women how to plant and harvest marango. This plant’s leaves have such significant nutritional value that it is used in the Global South to help fight malnutrition. It was a hit, and the women now are using it regularly in the preparation of meals for their families.
