A Note about the Class Meeting Time and Classroom Etiquette

For good or ill, this course is scheduled during the lunchtime; however, I ask that you do not eat in class. Coffee, soda, water, etc. are fine.

Bring the physical texts and printed copies of your notes to class. If you require the use of a digital device in class, please ask my permission first. As a general rule, if I can’t see its screen, refrain from the use of that device.

Finally, once class has begun I ask that you remain in the classroom (except for the direst emergencies). Going in and out of the classroom in the middle of the class is disruptive for me and your colleagues.

Students with Special Needs
Students requesting accommodation must first complete the certification process with the Student Accessibility Services Office (formerly the Americans with Disabilities Act Office). The ADA committee will provide certification to the student, who must then provide this documentation to the instructor when requesting accommodation.
