We are delighted to welcome faculty, staff, and community members back to Garden Volunteer Hours at the Knoll. Please pop over to go/knollhours for a schedule, more information, and live updates in the event of a weather cancellation.

All are welcome and no gardening or growing experience is required, just an open mind and willingness to connect. Please feel free to drop by for all or part of the happenings. We are returning to open hours, which means that there are no advanced sign-ups required. We will do our best to accommodate all garden volunteers during our time together. We recognize that this is a gentle re-opening, and we invite flexibility and generosity from our colleagues as we ease back in. For example, this means that we may need to impose caps on attendance or redirect non-student visitors at different points. Thank you for easing back into this with us.

If you are looking for information about hosting events at the Knoll for your department or group, please review the information shared at go/knollevents for an overview to help frame your planning.

We hope to see you out in the garden!

Spring driving access note: In the soggy early spring weather, we will not allow personal vehicles to drive up and into the Knoll unless they are required for disability access or staff use. Once the Knoll and the access road dry out, we expect that we will return to leaving the gate open for summer. In the meantime, please expect to park vehicles near the solar panels at the corner of Bicentennial Way and Rt 125, and walk from there. With questions or for access requests, please contact Megan Brakeley, food and garden educator at mbrakeley@middlebury.edu.
