August Work/Life Webinar:  Social Media and Teens

Technology has changed teens’ way of communicating with one another, socializing, scheduling, and even going to school. We will examine the pros and cons of social media and the role that parents play. 

Barbara Melton, a Licensed Professional Counselor, has been in private practice in Charleston since 1989. She is also a SC Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and has been mediating domestic cases since 1989. She has presented at national and international conferences on topics including conflict resolution and anger management. She is currently on the Board of the Assn. for Conflict Resolution for SC and the Mediation & Meeting Center of Charleston. One of her specialty areas is working with mandated mediations and mediating cases where domestic violence has occurred.
