In this post we’ll introduce you to a new member of the Middlebury College staff who is working in the Admissions office. Please join us as we welcome Caroline to campus!

Caroline Damon joined the Admissions Office in 2011 as assistant director following work in a variety of educational settings. Originally from New Hampshire, she began her career as a teacher and ski coach at the Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Carbondale, Colo. In 2006, Caroline traded the Rocky Mountains for the Green Mountains of Vermont. Happy to be closer to her roots, she most recently worked for the Middlebury Language Schools, and for the Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy, directing its programs in California, Vermont, and Rhode Island. Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bates College, where she was on the ski team, and a master’s degree in school counseling from the University of Vermont. She loves skiing and bicycling on Vermont’s many trails and roads, gardening, bright colors, and knitting. She lives near the ski trails in Ripton with her husband, Andrew Gardner, coach of the Middlebury nordic ski team.
