Reservations are now being accepted for the annual Vermont Women in Higher Education dinner and awards ceremony to be held on Wednesday, October 26, at the Old Lantern in Charlotte, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The price is $40 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, dinner, the annual VWHE awards ceremony, and a fabulous guest speaker.

Cheryl Hanna, Vermont College of Law professor and recipient of the 2010 Sister Elizabeth Candon Distinguished Service award will speak on “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife, and Her Mother: Reflections on a Life Gone Mad.”

If that title isn’t enough to grab your attention, keep in mind that the Sister Elizabeth award, the Jackie Gribbons Leadership Award, and the Peggy Williams Emerging Professional Award will also be presented.
