To the Middlebury Community:
This Sunday, October 24th, a memorial tree dedication service will be held in honor of Benjamin Wieler, class of 2011.
Ben died in September 2009 from complications following brain surgery while he was studying abroad in Barcelona. His parents, Susan and Stephen Wieler, and his brother Matt will be visiting on campus during Homecoming Weekend.
A Red Oak has been planted on the north side of Pearsons Hall in Ben’s memory and we will gather around it at 11:30 on Sunday morning. There will be a reception and an opportunity to greet Ben’s family in Pearsons Lounge following the dedication.
