Week 13 Day 1 Discussion Question 2

Romero discusses the plight of immigrant women who care for children or perform other kinds of domestic labor in private homes.  What makes the situation of such women particularly dire?  How does the work of such women help to reproduce class privilege?  How does Romero’s discussion of such women prompt us to think about the global reach of the U.S. class system? (You don’t have to answer all of these questions.  You can focus on just one).
