Drop-in tutoring in writing began this week on Monday, September 19th. Drop in writing tutors are available evenings (Sunday-Thursday) for 22.5 hours a week in the Center for Teaching, Learning & Research and an additional 18 hours in the evening in all five Commons and in the Anderson Freeman Center.
Peer Writing Tutors and Writing and Academic Mentors are, also, attached to 53 First-Year Seminars and College Writing Courses this fall.
Last week, be began 12 hours of training for new Writing Tutors and Mentors and 5-6 hours of training for experienced tutors. We publicize our service to students and faculty through emails, posters, Word Press, Facebook page and Twitter.
