WordPress.com Stats

The WordPress.com Stats plugin has been replaced with the Jetpack plugin.

WordPress.com Stats is a plugin for tracking information about your pageviews, which posts and pages are the most popular, where your traffic is coming from, and what people click on when they leave. It’ll also add a link to your dashboard which allows you to see all your stats on a single page.  To use this plugin, do the following:

  1. Go to your blog Dashboard
  2. Click on Plugins > Installed
  3. Activate the “WordPress.com Stats” plugin

Once this plugin is activated, you’ll see a “Sites Stats” page in your blog’s dashboard.  Initially this panel will contain instructions for linking the site to a wordpress.com account.

When WordPress.com Stats plugin is linked to a wordpress.com account, the Sites Stats page will list Top Posts, Top Searches and Most Active.  This page will also have a “View All” button which will display all collected statistics including:

  • Referrers
  • Top Posts & Pages
  • Search Engine Terms
  • Clicks
