Porter Field

In 1913 the college seeded and laid cinder down for a new track where Dragone Field is now. This field was named Porter Field after the land’s previous owner. It was on this field that Middlebury played most of it’s early baseball and football games as well as held it’s first track meets. Porter field laid the foundation for a prosperous future of Middlebury athletics.

The Campus continues to build excitement for future Middlebury athletics to be played on the new field.
