Carnival Play


 

Each year, students would put on an annual production during the Winter Carnival.  Examples of the plays that have been performed during this weekend include “Out of the Frying Pan” and “My Sister Eileen,” as seen in the images below. The Carnival play gave students, alumni, and guests the opportunity to attend an event where they could relax and take a break from the action-packed sporting and social events taking place elsewhere.  Although it was not the most popular event of the weekend, the Carnival play was still a significant part of the traditions of Middlebury’s Winter Carnival.
