Giulia Zoppolat

IMG_0340Giulia is a Master’s in Public Administration (May 2017) candidate at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. She is passionate about human rights and behavioral science applied to policy-making and leadership.

As the overall Team Lead, Giulia is responsible for the management of the research design and implementation of the Summer 2016 China program. She works with professors Jessica Teets and Orion Lewis of Middlebury College to coordinate the research efforts of the group of 7 students on the Development and Innovation team.

Giulia’s research team is focusing on vocational school education in Zhejiang, specifically looking at the effects of different government policies on student success. For more information on the project itself: https://sites.middlebury.edu/sumr1006al16/educational-access/

Giulia is fluent in Italian and dreams of visiting every UNESCO World Heritage Site (current count: 51/981). She is thrilled to be able to discover China for the first time in Summer 2016.
