Applications to join the SGA Finance Committee are now live!
Every student pays the annual Student Activities Fee ($415). It is the Finance Committee’s responsibility to ensure this money is allocated responsibly and effectively. This fund, totaling over $1 million annually, supports our community’s wonderful 150+ student organizations. We need students who are excited to think critically about enabling organizations, equitably and for impact.
If you are interested in joining our team, we want you to apply! Please follow the directions on this simple application, which you can also download at go/applytofc. The final day to turn in these applications will be October 9th (Monday). Upon completion, please send it in pdf form with your name in the title to email@example.com.
Board member positions are open to students of all years and majors. We especially encourage first-years to apply. Additionally, please don’t be misled by the name of the committee — in no way is finance experience necessary! We’re looking for all kinds of people who are enthusiastic about critical thinking and supporting the student organizations on our campus.
