Middlebury’s Schwarzman Scholars!

Congratulations to Middlebury’s newest Schwarzman Scholars, Abdijabar Mohamed ‘18.5 and Elsa Alvarado ’18! Elsa and Abdi will join the class of 2020 at Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China in August. This year, 147 scholars were selected from over 2,800 applicants. This fourth class of Schwarzman scholars comes from 38
countries and 119 universities, with 40% originating from the United States, 20% from China, and 40% from the rest of the world.
