New Summer Leadership Program: Mount Vernon Leadership Fellows

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Mount Vernon Leadership Fellows is a fully-funded 5.5 week residential program that invites undergraduate leaders from diverse academic disciplines to immerse themselves in leadership development programming inspired by the life and legacy of George Washington, and today’s leaders. The Mount Vernon Leadership Fellows program will prepare students to discover their own unique mission, giving them the tools to succeed.

This select, small cohort of rising college juniors will engage in dynamic academic workshops, experiential activities, networking opportunities, and a capstone project that fully utilizes the rich resources of Washington, D.C., the nation’s newest presidential library, and the famous estate of America’s first president. The program offers each student a generous stipend as well as campus housing, meals, activities, and all transportation to and from Washington, D.C.
