The MCRC would like to congratulate the class of 2012 and welcome them into the ranks of MCRC alumni. The seniors enjoyed a terrific celebration the Friday before Commencement with many family and friends.
In 2008 a tradition was started by Head Coach John Phillips: “Earning your Blue.” A player earns their “Blue” by appearing in five (5) competitive A-side games over the course of the college career. The are presented with their official MCRC jersey to keep at graduation. This year 6 players received their “Blue” on Friday.

Whether you are a former player, past or current parent, or friend of Middlebury Rugby, we want you to join us! This annual event is one of the highlights of our year and we are hoping to have strong representation from folks affiliated with every class of Middlebury rugby from 1972 right through to 2011. We’ll be playing the annual alumni game (so dust off your cleats) and a new feature of the weekend will be the alumni dinner, which I hope you will attend:

Schedule:
• 11 AM – The highly anticipated Alumni Game
• 1 PM – Support The MCRC 1st XV vs. UConn (Division I League Game) – BBQ during the game
• 6:30 PM – Dinner ($20 plus cash bar) at the Crossroads Café (in McCullough)
Housing on Friday and Saturday night available at Bread Loaf ($35 per night)
