In a highly physical and aggressive encounter, the MCRC overcame Division I side Yale 53 points to 5 in New Haven. A few changes to last week’s starting line-up saw Chris Marshall ’11 making his first start for the A side since early Fall 2008 when his season was cut short with an orbital bone fracture. Former backs captain Trey Stewart ’09 was also back in action after several weeks out sick, returning to his old haunt as 8th man. Sam Harrison ’11 rounded up the changes to the starting line-up. The MCRC “Killer B’s” showed outstanding determination and strength of character to come back from being down 14 points at the half to beat the Yale B side 15 – 14; 8th man Neil Danner converting a penalty in the dying minutes of the game to secure the win.
