Face it; it was an old fashioned "ass-kicking"; no other way to describe it.

Obama is unable to defend his own record, because it sucks.

Obama is lost without the TelepromTer.

Ryan will be equally effective. The facts are troublesome things.

First, this: "Word just came that the WiFi has crashed in the Karl Rove Crossroads cafe – we need Karl to donate more money." Bravo, bravo http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lznqrbALtv1r3zat8.gif

Second,"Mitt strikes a blow for bipartisanship – where did I hear that previously? You know – bringing change to Washington? Thinking….thinking…..oh that’s right. If only it was that easy." Kinda makes you want to throw Koger's Filibustering book at Jim Lehrer doesn't it?

Well being British, and being pretty uncertain where both Obama and Romney were going with their debate, I found it to be an anticlimax. According to Matt Dickinson, these debates will not affect how people vote, I think I can agree with him there. Anyway, all-in-all I found it a thoroughly enjoyable cultural experience. Looking forward to the Vice-Presidential debate!
