Professor Dickinson,

In your most recent post you posed the question of whether people are writing their congressman in favor of bipartisan compromise or (as you thought) they're telling their congressman to fight the forces of evil. I can tell you first hand that it is the latter. One of my friends is working for a Representative Alderholt (R-AL). He said that over 65% of the constituent calls coming in are calling to tell the congressman to "stay strong and fight Obama's overspending. They .then go on to attack any bill whatsoever raising the debt limit."

Sounds like urging him to fight evil to me.
