So You Want to be a Lawyer? Four Perspectives from Midd Grads who Chose a Career in Law

This panel discussion will be held Feb. 18, beginning at 4:15, in Bicentennial Hall 220.  

Participants include: 

Sue Ritter, Midd Class of ’83.  Sue received her J.D. from Temple University in 1986 and practiced law for more than 20 years before joining Middlebury College in 2007 where she now works in the Alumni Relations Office. 

Jennifer Bahnson, Midd Class of 2001, received her J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2004.  She worked for several years in the District Attorney’s office there before recently relocating to Massachusetts where she is waiting to be admitted to the state bar and continuing her practice.

Maggie Farquhar, Midd Class of 2004, is currently a second year law student at the University of Maryland law school.  Prior to entering law school she spent four years as a high school history teacher. 

Abigail Lamb, also Midd Class of 2004, received her J.D. from Seton Hall University in 2009 and has just begun working for Schulte, Roth & Zabel in Manhattan in the Corporate Real Estate Department. 

All four panelists have agreed to take questions from students.
