Thanks Clubbo. Apparently the expectation from the team is that they will not be hosting, but after looking at how many bad teams won conference championships, I personally think it is more likely than not. Either way, can't wait for the first round.

Guys - excellent work on the prep for the nescac semi's. Too bad that Midd couldn't quite get it done vs. The Ephs (actually disgusting). Give the Makers some credit- they played two , today included , of their best games at Lefrak. in the thinking that you always learn more from a loss that you do from a win, there are positives in our performance. First once a game goes to OT everybody is rolling the dice. The OT is going to be decided by one or two plays or calls.
It got to OT for a few reasons- Midd didn't solve the Wms' zone till early 2H. Earlier and it is possible that that 4 point lead at 10 min. mark is definitely more. The ability to attack it and solve it is key on on two fronts- we may see them again; and also others who have the Wms/Midd film may want to use the zone against the Panthers. Having solved that issue, my take is go ahead, Midd is ready. Secondly give credit to Epley. it was his best game of the year. We almost survived the heat from Klemm/Wohl (7-11 from 3) and allowing them 21 FT's (vs.9). After all this goes down, there was a bad call that gave Wms the ball back very late, and a noncall where Joey was hammered to the floor.
But Midd will get a bid (6th in a row)and is one of the ten locks from my take(Wms, Hamp-Syd, Va.Wes., Emory, Rochester, Wooster, Ill.Wes., Stevens Point, and M.I.T.) to get an at-large(poolC in d3 terminology) bid. We probably won't get to host but this is a weird year because of the restructuring due to the ncaa extending the tourney, so that won't be in stone till tomorrow afternoon. Talk soon. Clubbo.
