This website is an evaluation of the history of the opioid epidemic. Specifically, we will be focusing on the issue and its implications in the state of West Virginia. We chose this geographical region as it is one of the most heavily affected regions battling this crisis, which provides us with ample information to use in our research of its relationship to the region’s economic conditions, class structures, and it’s representation.
