The Addison County Farm Worker Coalition aims to serve the needs of dairy workers in Addison County. Coalition volunteers will transport all workers to meetings, doctor’s appointments, translators, interpreters, English as a Second Language instructors, and community help. County. The coalition themselves are a diverse group of volunteers- from teachers to students to doctors—who are dedicated to community service.

The Amistad Project, a project created by the Addison County Migrant Farmworkers Coalition, provides transportation assistance to farm workers and their families. Amistad volunteers will drive workers to medical appointments, grocery stores, religious services, social functions, and school for children.  The project currently has over thirty volunteers.
