Middlebury College student Angela Evancie set up a makeshift photo studio at the college's Old Stone Mill, then invited dining employees to sit for portraits. She wanted to recognize this group of employees who are essential to the student experience, yet largely invisible. She launched her exhibit across the street at 51 Main in Middlebury.

Three students comment about their work with Prof. Barbara Hofer on a 4-year study of the development of ideas about knowledge and knowing over the timeline of adolescence. To learn something new, Hofer notes, the average person goes on line to conduct some quick research, but we have no idea how they evaluate or think about the quality of the information they find.
