SPRING 2013 RETURN OF UNSOLD TEXTBOOKS
The College Book Store needs to begin the process of returning unsold textbooks to suppliers. Please purchase or rent any books you need for the remainder of the Spring 2013 term before they become unavailable.
If circumstances compel you to delay a purchase or rental further, please let the Book Store staff know so we can attempt to accommodate your needs.
During the week March 18 – 22 we will be returning all unsold used textbooks.
The following week, March 25 – 29 (Spring Break ) we will begin to return new textbooks for classes which use only one main text.
Shortly after Spring Break we will start returning all remaining new textbooks.
HELP STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS KEEP THRIVING – JOIN THE BOOK DRIVE for funding student organizations!
Would your room benefit from a little cleaning out? This week the College Bookstore, in cooperation with Middlebury Waste Management and the Student Activities Office, is kicking off the big 2012/2013 book drive.
Working with the One Planet Books program sponsored by Missouri Book Services we are able to receive funds for Middlebury student organizations from every box of donated books we send to One Planet Books .
Usually we are able to distribute $1000 every year but with your help we can make 2012/2013 the best year yet for funding student organizations.
Please bring your surplus books into the store all this week Mon – Fri from 8:30-5, Sat, Dec 15 from 9-5 and Sun, Dec 16 from 11-5 and place them in the green One Planet donation bins. Most books are acceptable –not just textbooks. We can take novels and poetry; paperbacks and hardcovers (or with no covers); new or old. Sorry no phone books nor periodicals. For restrictions please see: http://oneplanetbooks.com/faq.php#restrictions.
We are still buying back textbooks during the same time period. Just bring in all your books and see what we can give you cash for. Any “no value” books will be gladly accepted for the book drive. Thank you for pitching in!
