World Aids Day Events

December 1st is World AIDS Day!

World AIDS Day is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV/AIDS, a disease affecting over 33 million people and killing more than 2 million people annually. GlobeMed at Middlebury and Chellis House will be holding several events to promote awareness about HIV/AIDS, including:

Wednesday, November 30th
GlobeMed screening of “A Closer Walk”

Thursday, December 1st
Talk with Professor Erick Gong “The Economics of the HIV/AIDS Epidemic”
Hosted by WAGS-Chellis House and GlobeMed
@ 12: 30 pm, Axinn 229

Screening of “We Were Here”
Hosted by WAGS-Chellis House, Office of the Dean of the College, and GlobeMed
@ 7 pm, Axinn 100

Pick up a ribbon at Ross or Proctor and wear RED on Thursday, December 1st and be an advocate for the fight against AIDS!
