Stuff for Sale

We’ve all seen the “Drop Zone” signs that pop up around campus this time of year, but a group of enterprising seniors decided to take the idea one step further and set up a Senior Yard Sale on the patio outside Atwater. Each senior was responsible for getting their gear to the site—and then staying to oversee the selling of it—and then carting away the lonely leftover lamp if it didn’t in fact sell. We caught a bit of the action on that sunny afternoon.

Items included downhill skis, various pots and pans, rugs, a down jacket, and lots of refrigerators of all shapes and sizes. "These are the kinds of things you acquire in college but really don't have much use for in the real world," said the third senior organizer, Nadia Schreiber.

  1. That’s weird that shes a wireless card reader. And that she has it on hand. And that she’s selling a small set of drawers to a student at garage sale with a receipt.

Money alienates people. The yard sale is great tho.
