several months ago I heard an interview on VPR with a gentleman at Middlebury associated with The Center for social Entrepeneurship. In that interview there was mention of a "model" for working with the elderly population in a given community...a network ..of sorts..made up of folks with different skills / time..to offer to contribute to those elderly ..at home in need of services...I live in a community with many elderly Vermonters and do some part time work with them and am asked many times if there is a model for this type of "Community networking "for the elderly going on anywhere...is there anything you know of that is written up or any models to follow which might be implemented...or anyone at the Center to speak with about such things? I promised a neighbor...after telling her about the VPR program...that I would try and find some information..thank you for your time.
most sincerely,
