  1. Having locally grown food is such a good way to live a low-carbon life :)

  2. This may sound like its coming from left field, but the menu seemed to be extremely heavy in carbohydrates and lacking in protein. Excessive carb consumption leads to diabetes and heart disease. Protein is a building block of bodies and important for production of neurotransmitters. Are there no chickens or cows within 100 miles of Midd or maybe a fish? Eating vegetarian is very trendy and great for carbon footprints, but it can be disastrous nutritionally for developing brains, bodies, and especially athletes.

  3. Older and wiser,

Thank you for expressing your concern. The Weybridge House members have acknowledged this common criticism, and we are actively doing our best to find sustainable sources of protein that would fit within our budget.
