Things That Happened, Things To Do—Week of June 21
“Things That Happened, Things To Do” took a one-month hiatus as the academic year wound down and the summer programs prepared to ramp up. But now we’re back, offering recaps of goings on at the College, while looking ahead to events on the horizon. As always, we hope to call your attention to items that captured ours and alert you to events that you won’t want to miss.
- The summer Language Schools are in full swing. Of course, that means the entire community benefits from the bevy of cultural events that occur on campus all summer long. If you’re in the area check out the College’s calendar of events to see if anything catches your eye.
- The Bread Loaf School of English begins its 91st session this week.
- We’ve had some vicious storms already this summer, and some majestic trees have fallen victim to both lightning and strong winds.
- U.S. News & World Report has named Middlebury one of the country’s top ten eco-friendly college campuses.
