  1. This January marks the launch of the Real Food Challenge at Middlebury. Four interns have taken on the task of researching all of the food items Dining Services purchased in October 2012 and March 2013. Their goal is to find out how much of the food Middlebury provides is “real food” – either local, fair, ecologically sound or humane. Once we know how much of our food is “real” we can set tangible and quantifiable goals as well as identify areas for improvement!
