		<description><![CDATA[Thank you for carefully tending this ginkgo.  I am anxious to see it survive.  I was in the house at the time of the strike, on the afternoon of July 19, and wrote to a friend: &quot;I think the ginkgo tree in front got tagged.  I heard/felt/saw the simultaneous burst of thunder and lightening.  It certainly felt... um, local.&quot;  As I write, the tree is outside the window of my study, overlooking my work.  I&#039;m grateful for your efforts to keep me and it both safe.  -- Anne (resident, 121 S. Main St).]]></description>
