A philanthropy network that supports Middlebury athletes. Go Blue!

Greetings from Middlebury, where I am looking forward to my seventh season as coach of our remarkable student athletes. Members of our men’s tennis team recently returned to campus to begin a new academic year, and we are preparing for the 2017–18 season. We anticipate a challenging year, playing against many strong opponents like Emory, Amherst, Bowdoin, Trinity, and Claremont McKenna.

Every year at this time, we ask members of the College community who have an interest in men’s tennis to help us stay competitive. Your financial support helps to equip and train our student athletes and help pay some of our travel expenses. We hope that we can count on you to support our team this year. One of our goals is to raise enough money to cover the cost of the spring-break training trip. The trip will give us a chance to play against some of the best teams in the country and will help us to improve dramatically, adjust to playing outdoors, help foster team bonding in a condensed time away from academic pressures.

There’s no doubt that last year’s spring trip made a difference to our athletes—improving their skills, building confidence, and generally helping players to develop their potential. Your support makes that possible.

Participation in organized athletics is incredibly important to many Middlebury students. Their college experience is richer for it, and for many of them, participating in men’s tennis remains one of their fondest memories of Middlebury long after they graduate.

Please take this opportunity to support our team!
