A philanthropy network that supports Middlebury athletes. Go Blue!

Greetings from Middlebury College! I am looking forward to my eighth season as coach of Middlebury Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving. Our incredible student-athletes recently returned to campus to begin a new academic year, and we are preparing for the 2018–19 season. This year we’re looking forward to a very successful season in the NESCAC, which has become the most competitive conference for swimming and diving in the country. We added 22 first-year student-athletes to a returning group of 41 swimmers and divers. We have very high goals for the year, while not losing sight of the importance of balance in the lives of our student-athletes. Every year at this time, we ask members of the College community who have an interest in swimming and diving to help us stay competitive. Your financial support helps to equip and train our student athletes and to pay our travel expenses. We hope that we can count on you to support our team this year. We aim to raise more than $25,000 to help cover some of the expenses of our winter training trip to South Florida. The trip costs more than $80,000, the majority of which is covered by the athletes and their families. For the rest, we rely on generous gifts from alumni to make it affordable for all of our team members, ensuring that everyone benefits from this experience. With your help, Middlebury student-athletes gain so much from being part of the swimming and diving program, so please take this chance to support our team.
