Policy Manager – J-PAL Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC)
J-PAL LAC is currently recruiting for a Policy Manager to lead a number of policy activities in Mexico and Central America. These activities include building relationships with key stakeholders, disseminating research findings to policymakers, leading networking follow-up and provision of technical assistance to government and civil society, and catalyzing new randomized evaluations, among others. The Policy Manager will also attend and organize conferences and training courses in the region. This position will be based in Mexico City.

Research Manager – J-PAL North America
J-PAL North America seeks a Research Manager to manage and support a number of randomized evaluations testing innovations across a broad range of sectors, with an initial emphasis on health care delivery. (Please see J-PAL’s health care delivery initiative at www.povertyactionlab.org/hcdi). The position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior academics who lead the evaluations, including Scientific Director Amy Finkelstein. By joining the initial team J-PAL North America, this position offers the opportunity for high-performing staff to influence the scope of the office’s work and take on increasing responsibility and leadership opportunities.

Visa Requirements: This position requires permanent work authorization for the United States and is not eligible for any type of Visa sponsorship via MIT.

Policy and Training Manager – J-PAL South Asia
J-PAL South Asia is currently recruiting for Policy and Training Managers to lead a number of policy and capacity building related activities in the region. These activities include the dissemination of results of J-PAL research to policymakers, organization of policy outreach and training activities (including custom courses and advisory services), identification of potential new evaluations/ replications, and support of scale-up initiatives in the region.

Policy and Training Associate – J-PAL South Asia
J-PAL South Asia is currently recruiting for Policy and Training Associates to support the Policy and Training team in India and the South Asia region. P&T Associates support training programs delivered by JPSA-CLEAR and our partner organizations in the region, the dissemination of results of J-PAL research to policymakers, potential new evaluations, replications and scale-ups in the region.

Visa requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in India. Authorization can be granted under Indian citizenship, PIO or OCI status.

Assistant Director – Training, J-PAL South Asia / Programme Director, CLEAR South Asia
J-PAL SA at IFMR has hosted the South Asia Regional Centre for Learning on Evaluation and Results (CLEAR) since April 2011. CLEAR South Asia is one of five regional centres established through an initiative coordinated by the World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Group. J-PAL/ CLEAR SA is currently recruiting an Assistant Director – Training to set and drive CLEAR strategy and target outcomes, execute strategy, meeting annual and quarterly targets through delivery of high-quality capacity building services. The Assistant Director-Training will work to expand CLEAR South Asia’s strategic partnerships with organizations and individuals to help CLEAR and J-PAL SA expand its reach across South Asia.
