Attention Graduating Seniors – Interested in Education and Service? Apply to Match Corps!

match corps

Match Corps is a year-long tutoring program in which highly qualified college graduates work closely with K-12 students.  Match Corps is associated with Match Education, an organization that works to operate public charter schools in urban areas and train teachers for high-poverty schools.  Many alumni of Match Corps go on to pursue careers outside of education, but nonetheless apply experience they gained during their year of training.  See the Match Corps alumni page to read about alumni and their experiences with the program.  Match Corps has two locations, Boston and Chicago, and has rolling admissions until June 15th – apply now and hear back within a month!

For those graduates interested in pursuing a career in education, Match Education also has a program called the Match Teacher Residency (MTR), which is located in Boston.  MTR residents work in the Match Corps program Monday through Thursday and then receive intensive MTR training on Fridays and Saturdays.  In the spring, MTR helps residents to find jobs at top urban charter schools around the country.  Visit the MTR page to read more about this program and its “sister” institution, the Sposato Graduate School of Education (SGSE).
